Clark, who grew up on a farm in Southern Alberta, has been operating Bar None Ranches with his wife Julie and family since 1990. The farm has grown significantly in both size and scope under his expert management.
With Clark’s guidance, Bar None Ranches took top honours for best quality mixed hay at the venerable North American Seed Fair in Lethbridge in 2013.

Paula earned her CMA designation in 1989 and has been Bar None Ranches’ accountant since 1992. Raised on a farm and a life-long lover of horses, Paula prides herself with a complete knowledge in all aspects of the Bar None Ranches’ farming & thoroughbred operations.
Paula has called the Okotoks area her home for much of her life.
Kelly was introduced to Thoroughbreds when his father took him to the track in Saskatoon as a boy. That childhood experience has developed into a lifelong career in the Alberta thoroughbred industry.
In 1999, Kelly joined Bar None as an assistant trainer under his brother Ron and over time went on to train his own successful stable of horses. In January 2013, Kelly took over as Thoroughbred Manager at Bar None Ranches.
Kelly received his training and maintenance certification on the Hyperbaric Chamber in San Antonio, Texas.

Shaun grew up riding on the national hunter/jumper circuit.
Shaun strives to stay on the cutting edge of current advances in research, she attends seminars and consults with colleagues in the field throughout the world.
Shaun is responsible for the health, training, and well being of the farm’s broodmares, foals, and stallions.
Ron was born and raised in Saskatoon. He began breaking and breezing for Bar None in 1988 and moved into Thoroughbred training in 1993.
Ron is a Graded Stakes-winning trainer with over 600 career wins, including stakes winners Code Name Fred, Cash on the Run, Lynn’s Dream, and Canaveral Leader. Ron has earned top trainer accolades in Alberta on two occasions, most recently in 2012.
Training for Bar None Ranches and other Alberta owners, Ron maintains a local stable of 50+ racehorses competing at Alberta and surrounding provincial tracks.
Christine was raised on a farm in southwestern Ontario and has been an Alberta resident for the past three decades. Employed by a Calgary landscape company for almost ten years, she was in charge of landscape maintenance.
Christine has worked in her role as Garden Manager for Bar None Ranches since 1995
Bar None Ranches is home to Thoroughbred Stallions Schramsberg, Gayego and Run to Victory as well as pensioned stallion Gilded Time.
